Feature Request

Colin made this feature request in Apex 2.2 Evaluation:

Feature: Missing Feature Comment Date: 07-JUN-06 This category includes anything that pertains to Application Express theme development/creation.

Comment: Version Control

It would be good to have version control in to each part of an Application like:

- The Application Attributes - Page Attributes - Region Attributes - Items Attributes

Actaully, any component in Apex.

This could take the form of, adding these properties in the compoent:

- Version number (level 1) - Version number (level 2) - Version number (level 3) - Version number (level 4) - Build Number (Total Number of Builds) - Version Comments

The 'build' itself could be something that is done my user choice, to represent a build. This is like what happens in Twiki for example.

Reports could also be created to monitor changes to the application.
